Your privacy matters to us, and this page explains — in plain language — what data is involved when you use TrucosConsejos, what we do with it, and what we deliberately avoid collecting. By using this website you consent to this policy.

1. Your images and files

This is a tools site, so let's start with what you care about most:

  • Image Resizer, Watermark App and About Us Generator run entirely inside your browser. Your images and the text you type are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to our server.
  • The PNG to JPG converter is the one tool that uploads your file, because the conversion happens on our server. The file is stored under a random, unguessable name, used solely to produce your JPG, and both the original and the result are automatically deleted within 6 hours. We never open, analyse, index or share these files.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact form: when you write to us we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use them only to reply, we archive the message securely, and we never sell or share it.
  • Server logs: like virtually every website, our hosting stack records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, timestamps and requested pages — used for security monitoring and diagnostics.

We do not require accounts, we have no user database, and we do not build profiles of our visitors.

3. How we use information

The limited information above is used to operate and secure the website, respond to your messages, understand aggregate usage so we can improve the tools, and prevent abuse or fraud.

4. Cookies

TrucosConsejos itself does not set cookies for tracking. However, this site uses cookies through its advertising partners, as described in the next section. Cookies are small files stored by your browser that allow a site or ad network to recognise your browser on later visits. You can refuse or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the tools on this site will keep working normally without them.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is free because it is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. The following disclosures apply:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information — but the request channels are open to you regardless.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Changes take effect upon posting.
